I don't know, the gaylord entertainment center is right up there.
I think this team missed the boat for money. It seems like in glendale they could set up awesome vacation packages for people in Canada for when their team plays there. "come shop, eat and watch hockey at night all within walking distance". Sure it would be annoying to always have away fans there but hey, it's the entertainment business. |

James Tanner: Jobing.com Arena Name Change
Discussing the new arena name. - James_Tanner
The new name is better than Jobing.com, I always found that terrible that they name an arena with a website.
I'm with you for the branding, it was cooler and personalize before and now it's all about the money. Cash rules everything around me |

The Jets were in the World Hockey Association (WHA) and not the Western Hockey League (WHL). |

I thought jobing.com was a real website.
Also, new name still light years better than "Canada Hockey Place" - Sandus

I'm sure it is. I mean, that would be the only reason to name the arena that, right?

Just laughing at yours. I guess not every team can be as brilliant as the one whose big moves this summer were buying out Mike Ribeiro and replacing him with Sam Gagner. |

While, I like to stay away from a "my team is better than yours" type argument, because I just don't hate any other teams and in no way care if the Coyotes are better than them in anything except the standings, I will say that buying out Mike Ribeiro was an awesome move in and of itself. Mike Ribeiro was horrible and was only taking up a roster spot better used on a kid.
Acquiring a 24 year old kid with the skill set of Sam Gagner for a sixth round pick is easily the best value move of the summer by any team. |

If adding Sam Gagner, a player with long-unrealized potential to be a top-six center, for a 6th round pick is the best move of the summer, then how is adding Mikhail Grabovski, a player that actually is a top-six center, for nothing but cash the 2nd worst move any team made this summer? That makes zero sense. |

I always liked the old Cardinals stadium name, Sun Devil Stadium named after the Arizona state Sun Devils. |

I think Gagner will do well in Arizona, playing on a team with an actual system will do wonders, I do like the grabovski signing as well, term and dollar won't be an issue for the isles. |

Because Grabovski is severely overpaid and is not a top 2 centre on a contending team, and there is literally no one in the world who knows what they are talking about who would take Grabovski over Gagner. No one. Gagner is 24 btw. - James_Tanner
I would take grabovski over Gagner and he is 25 but 7 seasons played. |

It makes sense because Gagner is a superior player and literally no one who knows what they are talking about thinks otherwise. When Strome needs to play on the Isles second line, Grabovski is going to be terrible when moved further down the lineup as he is fairly one dimensional. I like him, but I wouldn't have signed him if I was the Isles. Too long, too expensive...but really, it's the Kulemin deal that is so bad. |

He turned 25 ten days ago, so maybe you oughta look up the word pedantic.
But seriously, it's ridiculous to prefer Grabovski. Ridiculous. |
